friendship partners The Friendship Partners portion of the Internationals Class is an opportunity for internationals to be paired with an American Friendship Partner and/or Friendship Team Member. These relationships provide international students and scholars an opportunity to: * Develop a true friendship with an American. * Visit an American home. * Share an American meal. * Enjoy (and practice) conversation in English. * Learn about American daily life and values. If you would like to be paired up with an American Partner or would like some more information, please let us know during one of our next regular English Class meetings! social events During American holidays and other times of the year, the Internationals Class enjoys times of fellowship to celebrate these occasions. Examples of these include a Christmas Party, a celebration of the Chinese New Year, and a Valentines Day Party. The Internationals Class enjoys trips and outings through the school year. We call them "Adventures" because they give our international friends the opportunity to enjoy new experiences and visit locations of historical or scientific interest in the Mississippi area.
