Thanks for visiting. Since 1995, International students and scholars in the Jackson area have
enjoyed our Conversational English Class offered on Tuesday nights at First Presbyterian
Church of Jackson, Mississippi (map).

In addition to our weekly class meeting, which focuses on developing English skills, we offer
a broad range of social and travel adventures talking part throughout the year (see our
calendar for upcoming events!). Through these opportunities, we hope to help International
students and scholars develop friendships with Americans while studying or working in the
Jackson area.

We love our International friends and look forward to the opportunity to get to know you. Over
the years we have had the privilege of making friends and learning from internationals from a
rather wide variety of cultural backgrounds, countries of origin, religious beliefs, length of stay
in the U.S., English language capability, and interests! We have a tremendous group of
volunteers who make up our team of American and Friendship Partners and who would love to
meet you as well.
